Hello friends!  I have completed another team set that I've been wanting done for a while now.  It isn't a particularly large one, but it is a favorite nonetheless.  Here it is, my 1995 Leaf Limited White Sox team set!

I have finally completed one of the autograph projects that I have been working on.  The aim was to have an autograph from every "award winner" in the the history of White Sox.  The awards that I am talking about are MVP, ROY, Cy Young, Gold Glove, Silver Slugger, and Manager of the Year. 

For a while now there has been one autograph missing from this collection.  I'm talking about 1966 American League Rookie of the Year and gold glove winning centerfielder Tommie Agee.  Behold!

John Danks will indeed be attending Soxfest this year.  Danks was added to the Soxfest roster almost immediately after agreeing to a contract for 2010.  I expect that the Soxfest lineup is now set.  The final lineup:

There have been some changes made to the 2010 Soxfest autograph lineup.  As far as I can tell, Andruw Jones and Billy Pierce have been removed from the schedule.  On a more positive note, Bobby Jenks and Carlos Quentin have been added.  There is still a chance that John Danks could be added once he and the Sox reach an agreement on his 2010 contract.

Also, they have announced that this years Deluxe VIP only signing will be with Gordon Beckham on Friday night.  The Deluxe VIP only photo opp will be with Jake Peavy on Saturday.

I had a blast at Soxfest last year, and really wish I was attending this year.  If you live in the Chicago area and have never attended Soxfest, I highly recommend you give it a try!  There are still hotel and weekend passes available.

A San Diego area collector helped me out at a Toys for Tots event last month.  Jake Peavy honored his previous San Diego commitments, even though he is no longer on the Padres.  Sounds like a guy I want on the Sox!
