We wanted to try to get Daniel Radcliffe
again on the last night of our NYC trip, which was last night. Unfortunately,
it was raining, and we didn't want our items to get wet. Luckily for us, Daniel
didn't sign anyway.
We were really bummed about missing Daniel, so we made some modifications to our trip.
We were supposed to fly to Baltimore this morning to spend 3 days there. I made
some last minute changes, and instead of flying to Baltimore this morning, we are
now going to drive there tomorrow morning. This meant another opportunity to
get Radcliffe!
There were 2 shows today. A matinee at 2pm, and the regular show at 8pm.
We got to the stage door at approximately 2pm. We were the first ones there.
A crowd started to form at around 3pm. Shortly after that, we were informed
that neither Radcliffe or John Larroquette come out between shows. We debated
leaving, but decided to stick around to try to get the rest of the cast.
Good thing we did! For some reason, lots of people decided to stay until the
end of the evening show. If we had left and come back, we wouldn't have been
able to get a spot along the rail, which would have meant not getting Radcliffe.
We ended up waiting 9 hours! But it was well worth it. We got him on two more
items. One 11x14 with his love interest from the play, Rose Hemingway.
And an 11x17 Harry Potter poster! I chose this poster for two reasons.
One, it is VERY cool looking. Two, it has a big, light area for him to sign.
We also got a Playbill signed by the entire main cast, with the exception of Mary
Faber.
